This piece is a duality of design and urbanism.  To the passing traffic, the boxes of this unique planter and fence appear whimsically to dance.  To those relaxing on the outdoor seating watching the passing life, the sculpture is a reassuring, static vessel of nature in the middle of the city.  Once planned to be constructed of concrete, the final collaborative design of black, 3/8” powder-coated steel meshes with the architecture of the Old Market.  Perforated-steel panel inserts salvaged from a local metal supplier south of the neighborhood complete the look.
